reaction to the second comment to the same post

Former US Senator Rudy Boschwitz attended the State Treaty on behalf of the US. He is an advocate for Jewish causes after fleeing Germany when Hitler came into power. Relatives who did not leave perished in the Holocaust. He has a long list of accomplishments which I won't take the time to copy and paste in here.

Before assuming the US does not care and sends a "nobody", please google Mr. Boschwitz' name and also the term "Operation Soloman" and you can learn of his huminatarian deeds which is why he was sent to Austria to attend the anniversary of the treaty. 8:24 AM

I was not trying to say that the US didn't send nobody, but even after reading about Boschwitz I don't see his connection to the matter, but I am not going to get into an argument here. I see that he has done great humanitarian deeds, which I do not want to question, I just don't see the connection to the treaty. I am sorry if I offended anyone or something like that, but I had never heard of him and neither did anyone else I know over here.

the other thing that bothered people over here about the choice is that we can't see a connection between him and the end of the occupation of Austria.
